Link to my route on Google and a picture.

I leave from my home at the left/west side of the route and head east into downtown Vancouver.  What a way to start the day, with snow capped mountains on the left and the Pacific ocean to the right.

I live in West Vancouver, which is actually to the north of downtown Vancouver, but prior to Google Maps I'm sure it felt "western."  I take the Trans Canada highway eastward from home and then where the route heads south, I climb the Lions Gate Bridge and and cruise through Stanley Park, the large green area near the end of the ride. The Vancouer-based ski events (aerials, moguls, etc.) of the 2010 Olympics were held at Cypress Mountain, approached by the zig zag switchback road to left/upper side of the map. I'm an all weather biker, but stick to the bus when it really rains or snows.
